* The designer papers I used as the "canvas"  for these bird paintings were bought from Vahallan in Lincoln Nebraska. They  create beautiful premium hand-painted wall coverings.  Some of the papers are smooth, some are deeply textured, but they are all different.  The bird  selected to be the subject  matter of each painting was determined by the color and/or texture of the paper used as the background.
